Manchester Airport Group initially commissioned a fire training video, which was quickly expanded into a comprehensive e-learning platform due to the success of the project.
Involved in the design from the outset, I worked with the client to help create and order the content and structure of the modules. I then recruited and worked with a developer to build the platform.
The video shot on site at Manchester was a large part of the project. I was keen to show that the scenes shown in the training were specific to where the learner worked.
In addition, I created an array of graphic, learning games and interactive elements designed to both record progress and engage with the learner.
Originally focussed on delivering fire safety training for Manchester Airport Group’s 20,000 staff, the project was expanded to include numerous other training module. A second e-learning platform has since been created. adapted to fit the differing requirements of Birmingham Airport.
